• The legs are made of special "Marine Alloy 5086-H38 Aluminum" from Alabama.  5086 alloy has tensile strength is near 50,000 lbs/square-inch.  That's nearly the strength of steel at 1/3 the weight!   

• We reinforce each leg at the center-pivot with a solid hardwood dowel from Maine!   The imports don't reinforce their legs!

• The Pack Stool seat is made of 4-layers of special nylon & polyester fabric:  Each layer is oriented 120 degrees apart so there is no "bias stretch".  Then the four layers are fused together with a 10,000 watt electric field.  The result is an incredibly strong, comfortable and light-weight assembly.  

• Finally, the seat attachment points are folded and fused 8 layers thick!  You won't find a better made stool seat !

Hooks to your Belt:

The Pack Stool's special "hook-loop" closure system is made long for attachment to your your belt or belt-loop.  Just peel the "hook-loop" open about 4 inches, slip it around your belt or belt-loop and reseal.   Experiment with the best position on your belt and you may even forget its there!

Fits on your pack:

The Pack Stool can be attached to the outside of your pack for easy use on the trail, see picture above.    

Carries over your shoulder:

Use the Pack Stool's adjustable shoulder strap for carrying ease.
