Fire:
The Snake River has carved canyons that
are over 6000 feet deep. The
erosion has left numerous "knife-edge-ridges" that are
just begging to be explored, including the one on the horizon
in this picture called Summit Ridge. .
The effects of the August Fire mentioned earlier are visible in this
photo. The deep grass of summer has been burned away
leaving........NEW LIFE!
