Hooks to your Belt: The Mini-Lite Hiking Stool's special "hook-loop" closure system is made long for easy attachment to your your belt or belt-loop. Just peel the "hook-loop" open about 5 inches, slip it around your belt or belt-loop and reseal. Experiment with the best position on your belt and you may even forget its there! Fits in your pack: The Mini-Lite Hiking Stool fits inside most day packs just the way it is. For smaller packing needs, I have found the the legs can be shortened in length up to 2˝" without serious stability issues. Attaches to your bike: Bike touring with the Mini-Lite
Hiking Stool adds comfort and convenience to your evening camp. Use
the stool's "hook-loop" system to attach it to your bike
or motorcycle rack.

Hiking purists may say "hum-bug" about including a stool for their hiking needs, but that's because they have not tried the Hiking Stool! At just 10 ounces, the Mini-Lite hits its stride on long hikes. It adds a spark of luxury when your body needs it the most. It works superbly well on the trail, in your camp and during these special hiking needs:

5000 Mile Testimonial : Camp Time,
In the Spring of 2010, I ordered the mini stool, which if I remember
right, weighed 10 ounces on website. I got it because I was
going to be hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and really wanted a stool
that wasn't going to break. (I'm sure you've heard it many
times, but I've broken many other stools on the trail and to be
honest was a bit skeptical about this "mini stool") When
I got it, it seemed like a really simple design and I was excited to
take it on the trail.
Needless to say, it went way beyond my expectations and
it became my favorite piece of equipment that I brought with me.
As a lightweight backpacker, a few people thought I was crazy
to be carrying a stool, but I used it almost every day and while
they were sitting on rocks, trees, their packs or on the trail, I
would pull out my stool and be sitting very comfortably. I
also never had to worry about getting sap on my butt, which was a
very nice feature.
I completed the PCT with the stool and this past summer decided to
take it along again on a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail and it
held up the whole trail. So this little
stool has lasted 2 long trails, almost 5000 miles and its still
going. There is a little wear at the corners now and
the screws have rusted from the wetness of the AT, but overall it is
a very well made stool and I just wanted to let you know how
impressed I have been with it, so thank you. I've attached a
photo of when I finished the AT southbound at Springer Mtn.,
Georgia.
Thanks again Camp Time,
Jason Boyes
